Intro. to Dance
This is a basic skills class that will help the student to
understand rhythm and movement in two styles: tap and ballet.
Hip-Hop Tots
Learning dance at a young age doesn't have to mean tights and
tutus! Now even our youngest students can learn to get funky!
Jazz
This style of dance focuses on technique, isolations,
flexibility and strength.
Tap
For the feet and the ears! Students will learn to hear and feel
the rhythm of the music and replicate the sounds they hear
through the feet.
Ballet
The foundation of all dance styles. The focus of the class
is discipline. The dancer becomes totally in tune with proper
body alignment and body placement.
Hip-Hop
Fun, Funky, Free! Loose, big, bouncy movements done to upbeat
music.
Contemporary
A beautiful mixture of ballet and jazz focusing on the emotional
aspect of the art of dance as opposed to the rhythm and the
counts of the music
